Winkleigh Methodist Chapel is situated right at the heart of a village that has doubled in size during the past twenty years, and is seeking to meet the needs, socially and spiritually, of the community. As well as the Sunday services that seek to have a blend of traditional and contemporary worship, the recently developed kitchen has enabled the church to open the "OASIS Coffee Shop" every Monday morning as a drop-in for teas, coffees, cakes, savouries, light lunches, etc.

Fulfilling our Mission statement we also hold regular Messy Church and Youth Emmaus meetings as well as Bible Studies and Prayer meetings.

For further details please contact the Minister (Graham Warmington) at 01837 83574 or by email.

~ NEWS FROM WINKLEIGH ~

Our Oasis Coffee Shop continues to open from 10am through to 1.30pm every Monday (except Bank Holidays), offering a wide range of snacks and light lunches. At the same time, the C.A.B. consultant is also in the building on a fortnightly basis. On the first Sunday of each month, we meet at 5.30pm for our Monthly Tea Service in the Oasis Room (this includes a bring-and-share tea).

Acrostic Poem by Edgar Hucker dedicated to WINKLEIGH Chapel: WEST DEVON CIRCUIT - may we be In God's work one family. Never let us cause a stir, Kindly each with each confer. Let the Holy Spirit guide, Empty our whole self of pride, In humility to seek God to serve You week by week. Help us Lord we pray.
