Iddesleigh Methodist Church is an evangelical fellowship meeting in a modern chapel building (1993), which is often laid out in a variety of ways to suit the informal worship that is enjoyed here. A praise band leads the worship and there is usually an opportunity to request a song or chorus from Mission Praise. Worship is often enriched by the presence of children attending Farms for City Children which is located nearby. Once a month in an evening there is an opportunity for 'food and fellowship' where in New Testament style a simple meal is shared and then followed by very informal worship. In August there is also open-air worship on the village green.

Friday night is always very busy with young people. Mini-headway for the young ones, followed by the Coffee Bar for older ones.

Ecumenically, with Monokehampton Methodist Church, Iddesleigh is sharing with four local Anglican and one Baptist Church as part of a newly created Mission Community.

Sunday Evening Special on the 1st Sunday of each month.
Fun, Food and Fellowship starting at 7.00pm with a light meal followed by an informal time of worship

Acrostic Poem by Edgar Hucker dedicated to IDDESLEIGH Chapel: In our christian pilgrimage Days of witness fill each page. Diaries tell of tasks ahead - Ever by our God we're led. Sometimes. when the task to do Leads us on in pastures new, Extra blessings may be known If the seed is truly sown. God will help us when He leads. He will bless our days and deeds.
