For those living in the Okehampton area can I please ask you to consider donating food and supporting the Okehampton Food Bank. Due to the current crisis with Polestar and Wisemans they have been inundated for requests for food parcels and supplies are running low. Demand for food parcels is likely to increase substantially over the days and weeks to come.
Food needs to be delivered to Andrew Marshall at OK Leisure, 34 Fore Street, Okehampton, EX20 1HB.
Food Bank requirements:
(UHT or powdered milk), Cereal, Tinned soup, Fruit Juice (carton), Pasta sauces, Baked beans, Rice/sponge pudding (tinned), Tomatoes (tinned), Pasta/rice (1kg), Tinned vegetables, Tea bags, Instant mashed potato, Tinned meat/fish, Tinned fruit, Sugar (500g), Biscuits or snack bars. Thank you.
