Broadwoodkelly Methodist Chapel is a traditional evangelical fellowship very much committed to outreach through the delivery of the 'Good News' in the neighbourhood and through active involvement with The Gideons. Congregations are much higher than the membership suggests, and regular bible study is at the heart of this Church.

The chapel is situated not in Broadwoodkelly but at the delightfully named, and very pretty, hamlet of Splatt which is about a mile away. A young people's Tuesday Club takes place in Broadwoodkelly village hall from 5.30pm, and their Christmas and Easter concerts are both well known and well attended.

For further details please contact the Minister (John Leach) at 01837 810591 or by email.

Acrostic Poem by Edgar Hucker dedicated to BROADWOODKELLY Chapel: Bells ring from cathedral towers, Round clocks strike the time and hours. Over centuries they've stood, And have welcomed all who would Daily bring faith's offering, Whilst the choirboys sweetly sing. O the joy that this can bring, Others, too, their faith may sing. Dedicated Chapels stand, Keeping watch throughout the land. Enter them - just sit and pray, Let their peace inspire your stay. Let the church be always there, You and I our faith to share.
