Belstone Methodist Chapel will be found on the edge of the village Green, close by the stocks and the old Manor Pound.  The present building dates from Easter 1891, a schoolroom being added in 1926.  Another highlight in its history was the switching on of electricity in 1934.  The old Sunday School Banner on the wall behind the pulpit portrays the Wesleyan Heritage.

At present, due to the small memberships, services are shared with the chapels at Sticklepath and South Zeal.

For further details please contact the Minister (Philip Wagstaff) at 01837 52302 or by email.

Acrostic Poem by Edgar Hucker dedicated to BELSTONE Chapel: Breaking of bread and the sharing of wine, Each with the other give blessings divine. Lord, in this way, we remember You said, "Souls will find You in the wine and the bread". Though for Yourself, when dark Calvary came On that cruel cross You were there without blame, Night turned to day as the Easter sun rose, Empty the tomb and defeated Your foes.
